Finding Money for College – Not as hard as you think!

Scholarships.comCollege is NOT cheap… but that’s really no secret. What seems to be a secret is finding ways that you can fund a college eduction.  Did you know that there are literally millions of scholarship and grant opportunities available with an estimated value in the billions?  Yes that’s BILLIONS with a B.  This money is made available from many sources including grants like Pell grants, and scholarships from a myriad of individuals and organizations.  The real secret lies in finding the ones that are appropriate for you and your situation!

In the past few years scholarships.com has become the largest independent online source for free college scholarship searches and financial aid information. They help take the mystery out of the search process. You enter into their system some petinent information about you and your interests and their massive online database of opportunities will be searched to find matches that fit your profile.  They also list the most relevant matches first, reducing the amount of time that you have to spend wading through all of the opportunities.   Their website also has a great resources section to help clarify the often confusing process of financial aid.

If you or your children are getting ready to head to college in the fall… Now is the time to start looking for funding options.  Why not start by doing a free search at scholarships.com?

  1. Hello Bill,
The text link to scholarships.com is dead. Looks like it was misspelled in the code.

  2. I have corrected it… Thanks Spehl Czech (if only a spell check would have caught the actual misspelling in the html)
The correct link should have been scholarships.com
