At this time of year I can’t help but be mindful of all of the things I am thankful for and for all of the people in my life that I love.

My wish for all of you is that you have a very good year… one that is filled with peace and joy, and one that has you being thankful.

I appreciate your readership and as we enter the new year I look forward to your continued support and your support of those that advertise here as well.

I am absolutely amazed and appalled that the leaders of this state would allow such an ANTI-RELIGION statement to be placed in the capital building. The Christmas Tree and Nativity in no way speak against the atheists yet this sign is clearly an attack on religion. It absolutely crosses the line and our weak governor hides behind political correctness and a clouded legal view. It’s unfortunate this didn’t happen last year… maybe people would see her for who she really is and she wouldn’t be our newly re-elected governor… Let her know how you feel -- Call her office: (360)902-4111
