WordPress 2.4 Status Updated
Lorelle is reporting on her blog – Lorelle on WordPress- that the 2.4 version of WordPress as I speculated in my previous post will be delayed and in fact the 2.4 release may be skipped entirely for the 2.5 release in March.
As a new blogger using WordPress I would say that I don’t hate the Admin panel but it always seemed to me to be more difficult than it needed to be. If the Admin is one of the key reasons for the delay, I for one will certainly appreciate it and want it to be done well. If the extra time gives them what they need to accomplish this then I say take the time!
In the meantime if you haven’t upgraded to 2.3.2 you should do it now… there is no reason to wait.
